F/X Gelatin™ 2 fl oz / 58 ml
Due to the variance in the display of colors across different monitor types, color swatches may not be an exact match to the actual product. Use for reference only.
F/X Gelatin™ is the “heat and serve” of gore makeup. The new professional formulation and new instructions provide a complete guide for sculpting and casting, or creating burned or mangled face effects. Gelatin will cool and firm into a solid yet flexible, soft rubber-like material. Three colors available.
For direct application: DO NOT MICROWAVE. Place bottle(s) in a hot water bath until the F/X Gelatin™ is fluid. Test temperature on the wrist to make sure it’s not too hot. Apply color to desired area and shape, swirl and mix until it has cooled. Once it has cooled, it will stay in place but remain flexible. Powder to remove shine and add blood products for extra appeal. Peel off to remove.
For casting prosthetics: Cut open the gelatin container, slice gelatin into cylindrical disks and place into a double boiler. Do not exceed 150 degrees F. Pour gelatin into a mold. Use a flat plastic scraper to scrape away excess gelatin. Apply a fine grade of talcum powder like HD LuxeCashmere™ Setting Powder to the surface of the gelatin to prevent the piece from sticking to itself or your fingers. Slowly work a brush loaded with powder under an edge of the piece. Once the piece is fully released, it is ready to use.
